There is a Scarpetta in NYC but as of last week I have only been to the Las Vegas location. Marc Maron interviewed Scott Conent (who I have seen on TV a number of times) and talked about the spaghetti dish and how he could not believe how good it was. Well it is VERY good. My mom hadn't been feeling great prior to our trip so I think she didn't really absorb how good the meal was. I had a special appetizer that had Octopus and lentils which was really good. We had a table near the window and were able to see the Bellagio Fountains. Mom had scallops-she said they were good. The spaghetti was really out of this world. Every time one has fresh pasta I think you are reminded that no matter how skilled a cook someone is if it is dry in a box-it is dry in a box. This clearly had been made day of and the tomato sauce, was flavorful and the pasta wasn't drowning in it.
We had the ricotta cheesecake which was a small round serving (different than other places) with some fruit sauce.
