  • You can't beat $7.77 for a smog check. Supposedly you're supposed to check in for the offer, but for the two times that I have been here, they have automatically given me the offer without being asked. I went on a Friday afternoon, and the lady at the front told me it would be about a 15-20 minute wait for the smog check. It ended up being 30 minutes, but who am I to complain when the smog check is so cheap? They also examine your car to make sure everything is up to date/nothing needs to be changed. I feel like it's sometimes difficult going to one of these car shops by myself because I'm afraid I'll be taken advantage of. (I'm car-stupid.) I really appreciated that they showed me how nasty my cabin air filter was instead of just saying that I needed to change it. They were also not pushy about changing the filters right there and then. I appreciated that as well.
