  • My family has been a long time customer of Doggie District (the Rainbow and Cheyenne location). Our dog loves the open play and the pools, and the customer service is usually very good. Austin, the owner, has always treated us very well, and went out of his way to help us out with a dog training problem about a year ago. In recent months, however, we've noticed a lot of new employees at this location who are not as friendly or professional. Additionally, our dog has experienced five or six paw infections this year that our vet believed were the result of unsanitary conditions (some which could be remedied through better cleaning, some which were just what he called "a side affect of taking your dog to a daycare center"). None of the paw infections were life threatening, but they were very expensive to cure, and when we brought it up to the staff at Doggie District, they didn't seem to care. Obviously, they can't prevent all contamination with so many dogs, but some empathy, even if false, would have been appreciated as we spent close to $1500 .. and returned as customers. Over all, I would recommend Doggie District to other dog owners. It is hard to find somewhere in town that has the kind of facility they offer for a good price. Plus, our dog loves it. I would just caution people about possible infections from other dogs. They can be very expensive to remedy, and by virtue of the "do no evil" waiver that you sign to take your dog there, there is no accountability from Doggie District.
