  • Why do I give this visit four stars? It emulates from the proprietors. Our visit was both warm and personal. In brief conversation, I found that Paul and I had many of the same friends and business associates. Paul's background in the industry is deep and diverse. He created Oberon and Spellbound wines and sold the brands to Mondavi. My friends and I drink both, so it was awesome to stumble upon this winery and make this connection. About the wines. They are creative and well conceived. Some have already matriculated into the retail ranks and others are to showcase soon. A tasting of 4 wines of your choice is $10 and if you buy a bottle of wine there is no charge for the tastings. Shaggy and Daisy (a Great Dane and Mastiff) illuminate the tasting room and add such a great feeling of home. The ciders that we experienced and hand crafted whiskey were unique and very tasty. Although it is tucked away in a Commercial District, it is worth the find. We for sure will be back to visit all the crew here.
