  • Sav Mor is right around the corner from my house, and I love this little hole in the wall! I bought my sexy Beyonce ponytail that I wear when I'm feeling too icky to style my own real hair here, and they have rescued me through various beauty crises in many ways. Another top-secret tip...those little Chinese slippers that were so hot in New York City a few years back? You can get those at Sav Mor for $2 a pair. I've got white, orange, and red. It's like you're not even wearing shoes at all, and Charlotte doesn't have the snotty "That's So Three Summers Ago" attitude of NYC...I love this town sometimes. Sav Mor has a great selection of hair dyes, hair products and ethnic hair products, and various wigs, extensions, and pony tails for those of you interested in experimenting. They also have some fun accessories (jewelry, scarves, hair doodads, etc) that are really cheap. Check them out!
