I went in to get some prices on a door replacement and security screen doors, first off someone asked if I needed help and then said he would page someone, but I should cross my fingers. When nobody came to the door department, another man came over asked if I needed help then told me the door person was on flex time and would be in around 11:30. First off only 1 person can work the door department? I called to speak with someone and this person answered the phone millworks, so I asked if he was for doors he said yes but turned out he could answer no questions, told me the supervisor of doors would be in around 1pm. I called back and got another person, he didn't know much more than the first person, in fact told me the replacement door to garage didn't have to be fire rated, I asked if he was the supervisor he said yes ( I find that hard to believe) and it sounded like someone was telling him what to say because he kept repeating everything I said, and again got different answers and none of them made sense. I am totally shocked that this is how Home Depot handles the door dept. I went to Lowes and the door man wasn't in but a couple other people came to help. It doesn't seem like Home Depot cares much at this location and doesn't want to make any sale. I spoke with another customer about water filtration because I couldn't find help before!
