  • Bethel Bakery is nothing special at all. Just go to Giant Eagle. You 'll save a ton of money and the cake will taste just as good. The only reason this place is popular with locals is because it USED to be good. The cakes are really nothing special. I used to work there. Everything is hugely overpriced because locals talk about it as if it is something unlike anywhere else. I've said this before, it is a local favorite solely to have a local favorite. Sincerely, find somewhere else and make sure you ask to try the cake. I promise you this place is forgettable. And to the person who is talking about liking their doughnuts, THEY COME FROZEN IN A BOX ALL THEY DO IS BAKE THEM. Sorry if I'm being mean, but it amazes me that this place can still do as much business as they do. Go downtown and find some real bakeries. You should actually taste other cakes than Bethel Bakery and grocery store cakes before you just write a 5 star review...
