| - Wonderful little restaurant with lovely mustard colored walls and a friendly, family feeling. We loved everything that came to the table--the best calamari we've ever eaten, fabulous bread, the pasta Davoli and veal picatta. The salad was also very nice. It was fun to eat a multi-course dinner, and we were completely stuffed by the time our entrees arrived. Who can resist a bowlful of freshly cooked pasta with that amazing vodka sauce? We did manage to bring some home with us.
We ordered a very expensive pinot noir, which our waitress gladly decanted for us, after we asked her. We each enjoyed a glass of white wine while we waited for the red to open up.
My only complaint has to do with our seating. We were in the back room at a little table, and guests, servers, and waiters walked around us constantly. No one every actually bumped us, but I felt on guard the entire time. I could not relax.
It was a great dinner, but a very expensive dinner. We decided we were glad we went, but won't go back.
