| - Yojie is simply amazing every time I come here. It's a Japanese hot pot that you cook your meat and veggies in the broth of your choice. You pick the meat you want and the broth. I always get the yojie's cut of meat with sukiyaki. I've tried the miso, which is good as well but I prefer the sukiyaki broth. The meat is thinly sliced for quick cooking in the broth.
The sukiyaki comes with a raw egg that you dip your meat into. Sounds kind of weird and maybe gross.. But it's absolutely delicious and a must try.
The veggies they give you are cabbage slices (which are huge and kinda wish they had it chopped), carrots, tofu, seaweed, udon noodles, mushroom, and clear noodles. You can toss the veggies in little by little as you eat or toss it all in.
If you're a spicy food fanatic, ask for their hot chili paste. Beware it's super super spicy. Just add little by little to your broth or put some on your plate to dip a little with your meat and veggies. But the chili paste puts that icing on the cake to the meal.
If you're a first timer also, they give you a little wood block that says first time. So if you don't know what you're doing, they will help you and explain to you the process.
For dessert, I had the berries and bananas fondue with dark chocolate. It's probably good for 2 people after the meal. But that was delicious as well. It came with strawberries and bananas!
You can never go wrong with this place!
