Had the pleasure of meeting John the owner today. I brought in a family heirloom Hohner Accordion in to get some advice. John was more than happy to tell me about what I had and his knowledge of them. Even though they don't work on accordions at his shop. He even looked up values and what they have recently sold for.
I was referred here by my niece who frequents the shop with her 2 girls who love music. They rent to buy instruments here and are able to change them out to learn different types quite often. I had no idea you could rent to own and switch out instruments and the balance just gets carried over. What a great way to find your favorite.
My niece couldn't say enough nice things about his Harmony House and John. I do have to agree with her he helped me, spent time with me, gave me a referral to a friend and knew the whole time while talking to me I wasn't going to buy anything there. What a nice knowledgable person he is. I wish we had found him when my kids were playing I in band. We were locked into contracts with the place we used.
This is a great store with great customer service.
