  • I've been flying American Airlines for many years. One of the few 'trunk' airlines that have managed to survive then thrive in the post de-regulation airline industry change from the 70's. I'll admit I was more than a little distressed when American Airlines acquired USAir. I lost many of my USAir credit card perks and some key mileage benefits. I've had many mixed experiences with the service. Mostly from being late to very late.
