  • I. Love. This. Place. It's like a hidden gem. Let me tell you. My friend and I were looking for Carson's Kitchen. Siri was telling us we were there, but we weren't. Just as we were about to turn around, a kind lady pointed us in the right direction. Luckily for her or we would have missed out! We get there and their not open yet! It was past the time plastered online. We waited a little and someone came to open the door. We walk in and the place isn't that big. Nice, trendy atmosphere. Love the tables as they look like they were recycled and reused. Not sire from what. I guess I could have asked. We sat at the middle section, right next to the lemons and such. Haha! They even have hooks for your bag, so it doesn't have to go on the floor. Which is bad luck! All your money will fly out! Anywho, I ordered the baked mac and cheese and my friend ordered a butter burger that came with tots. They do inform you when you sit down that food comes out as it's done. So one may get theirs before the other. Which happened to us. I got my mac and cheese first. I like to wait to eat until everyone gets their food. I only took one bite. I couldn't resist. It looked so good. The melted cheese, and those toasted breadcrumbs were just screaming my name! Not too long after her food comes out and we dig in. Omg! That mac and cheese is up there with some of the best. Then I had a glob of cheese and I was singing! My friend took a bite of hers and she loved it! I had a tot and they were made to perfection! The right amount of crunch! Not soggy or falling apart. The ladies working there were awesome! Shout out to Tara and Felicia! They were hilarious and down to earth. Real people. When you get your bill, it's in a book, which you can write a little note in. Of course I wrote something in Lucky number, or chapter, 7. I asked how long they had been there and I believe she said around 2 years. And I had no idea! I'll be back though!
