  • I've rented several homes in Las Vegas and in several other major US cities. This is one of the worst property management companies I've done business with. The home I rent from them was recently burglarized and Painted Desert didn't help to coordinate the requisite security remedies. I was forced to work with the actual property owner who lives out of town in order to get security upgrades. They also misrepresented certain aspects of my tenancy to the property owner which has created further friction between me and the property owner. Put simply, Painted Desert Realty seems to be an ethically-challenged business. Additionally, they don't offer a grace period for paying rent, which I've never seen--5 days being the industry standard in my experience. They just now transitioned to an online payment portal, which costs $37/mo. to use. This is also a first. Maintenance requests have gone uncompleted. Happy tenants tend to stay in place and keep paying rent, i.e. better ROI for investors. Painted Desert doesn't seem to have gotten the memo on this one.
