  • Had an appointment at SimonMed today. I walked in and of course the waiting room was packed with about 15 people waiting. I filled out my paperwork and gave it to the person at the desk with my insurance card. 20 minutes later they still hadn't called my name to return my card even though they'd taken about 4 other people who came in after me. I checked with the desk and the lady said someone was processing me. So I waited another 20 minutes and went back to the desk. I asked if they thought they might get to me soon since I had somewhere I needed to be in 20 minutes. The lady said they were running at a 40 minute wait time (instead of their usual 25 which is already ridiculous) and there were also 3 people ahead of me. I'd already been there 40 minutes so I was done. I told her I would just reschedule and come back if she could just return my insurance card. But guess what they couldn't find? After she spent 5 minutes looking for my card and asking other employees if they'd seen it, I told her to forget it and left. Total waste of time and a frustrating experience.
