The worst service I ever received on an airline. Customer service was so horrible which to me is a sign of unhappy employes. I will never fly American again. My destination was Jamaica. I printed our boarding passes early and there was a sign that said posted that stated passengers must check in 45min before their flight. We arrived 1hour before our flight and was told we were to late. Our flight was a red eye leaving at 10:20pm and the airport was pretty much empty. None the less we were not allowed to take our flight and had 2 pay an additional $688.00 to take the next flight @ 6:30am. My paper work never said we needed 2 be at the airport 2 hours before my flight but it did say i was allowed 2 check in bags and one carry on bag. So that is what I took.. On my way home from Jamaica however. I was told I had 2 pay for the second bag after the attendant put my small carry-on size bag onto the conveyer belt. My other bag was 2 large 4 a carry on so I had 2 pay $40 more the bag. Never again will I fly American Airlines.
