  • I started coming here when they opened. It has changed a lot! For anyone returning after a long time, you'll noticed they moved into the cooler, larger building next door and gave their old area to Pane Bianco. The current building has an open sitting area but there are also 2 other rooms if you need it, but sometimes it's occupied so plan ahead. Menu isn't the biggest I've seen but there is still a lot to choose from. They keep fresh food and a full staff on hand at all times so they can handle whatever is needed. You may think the staff comes across as "too cool for school" at first glance, but when you talk to them they come across as familiar, approachable and attentive. Their famous coffee and other drinks are priced how you'd expect. When they were in the old building, I fell in love with the pastries. I was delighted to find that they had expanded on the amount of pastries available. The first thing I bought was a lemon cookie. Then I came back twice for those cinnamon rolls TWICE. I had to come back because they almost always sell out. The good news is, they sometimes make them twice a day. If you have something specific in mind(only if you are specific), just call ahead to see if your favorite item is up or not. They have a full menu now, which is nice when you want to bring your laptop to do business and then stay for lunch. The meals and are a little expensive but I had a beautiful BLT with the most epic macaroni, which made both worth the price. I enjoyed it so much, I came back the next week with family and we ate breakfast with that same tender belly bacon kissed with a delicious char that was in my BLT. Yea, everyone knows the atmosphere is trendy, but there are other points to bring out. The buy fresh flowers from the nursery next door sometimes, they keep local art on the wall, and the outdoor seating is great if you bring your well-behaved pet. Interestingly, just like a good Trader Joe's store, they have their own resident artist who keeps things hip and fresh. I would love a gig like that! Last, I don't know why I like this, but I am in love with their eclectic interior design. Mid-century-modern furniture in an industrial style building with a rustic exterior. They even have industrial-style bathrooms. Someone pointed out to me the bathrooms usually have Charmin toilet paper, which may not matter, but it's the little things that count sometimes.
