  • I AM SO DISAPPOINTED! I have been going to Hillside since it first opened...in fact, at least once weekly if not more. I have had breakfast, lunch and dinner there countless numbers of times. I have had meetings at Hillside and worked there for many hours at a time. As well, I was part of a book club that met there weekly for quite a while (and we all ate meals).Yesterday, I was meeting with colleagues to have breakfast and work on a grant. Three of us who all ate breakfast. We were asked by Omar (manager or owner, not sure which) to NOT stay there an work because of the breakfast rush! I AM APPALLED!!!! My husband, 2 sons and I have spent easily several hundred dollars (if not thousands) there and eaten MANY MANY meals there since Hillside opened. In fact this past week, I was there 3 times and ate meals on all three occasions. To be told to not stay to work has me so angered and disillusioned that I will not be going back there! I have become friends with several of the staff there and will greatly miss them...but I have been left to feel so unwelcomed by Omar and the management there! (In fact, as I was leaving yesterday, I stood by the door to see if Omar would come and apologize to me...he looked at me: smiled and nodded and said nothing.
