Zombies, zombies everywhere.
Hidden in the back part of the arcade located inside the Monroeville Mall is this little gem. (braiiiinnnns) Definitely a must see if you are in the mall. Since I have been there last they have opened up a mini-golf course that is to have a 70s Monroeville Mall theme for the course. I've also been told that they are going to open up a zombie shooting gallery, like the western themed shooting galleries but with zombies instead. (braaaaaaaains). That should be able to help you get some practice for when the zombie apocalypse happens.
Walking through the exhibit area you'll get to see a miniature version of Monroeville Mall from the filming of the Dawn of the Dead movie. Also you get a glimpse at some artifacts from clothing to newspapers from the movie. Movie poster line the wall from various different (braiiinnnnnnnnnnnssssss) zombie type movies. Their boiler room walk through has some interesting looking life sized zombies. The 'Maul-of-Fame' is quite interesting, red hand prints adorn a wall with autographs from the actors that played such zombies as the 'nurse zombie' from the movie.
Before leaving you can browse through their Zombie Boutique. Next time I'm there I'm definitely going to get a Monroeville Zombies hockey team t-shirt or a Pittsburgh: Zombie Capitol of the World t-shirt.
No admission, but donations are welcomed to help grow their exhibit. Hours are the same as the mall. (BRAAAAAAAAINS) Quick, run for you life to this place.
