  • The Arizona Science Center has been around since I was a kid. I remember going there on school field trips in Elementary School and on the weekends with my parents. Now that I am an adult, and I have a young child I thought it would be a great idea to take my son on a weekday morning. I expected a lot more for the outrageous price, and left there within an hour. If you are going to the Arizona Science Center do NOT go on weekdays because school field trips will be going on and you will not be able to enjoy any of the exhibits or activities. My son rarely was able to view any of the exhibits because it was completely overrun by hoards of unruly kids. Also, I expected there to be some new exhibits or updates, but almost everything I saw there was the same thing that was there from the time I went as a kid, 15 years ago..overall it was extremely disappointing. I might try to come back on a weekend to give it another chance, but I don't believe it is really worth the price.
