  • I went to this Provigo when I was in the NDG area since I wanted to pick something up before going to my friend's place in NDG. It is a typical Provigo with ample free parking right next to it. The good thing about this grocery store is that the grocery carts are not locked in place where you need to insert a coin/deposit to remove the grocery cart and then return the grocery cart in the same area to get your coin/deposit back. I really hate it when grocery stores do this since I generally pay by credit card and sometimes when I visit grocery stores, I don't have a loonie/toonie to insert into the locking mechanism to remove a grocery cart. This Provigo has a few self check-out terminals where you can scan/pack/pay via the automated terminal which is great since I use these self check-out terminals at establishments that have them. I generally find them a lot faster or more convenient than standing in line and waiting for the cashier to ring up your items. Regardless of whether you are driving westward on St-Jacques Ouest or eastward on St-Jacques Ouest, you don't have to make any illegal turns or cross any yellow lines to go into the parking lot. It is a typical Provigo grocery store. I don't have any complaints about my recent visit there.
