| - It's important that I apologize for not getting My stylist's name correct, especially since I saw her several times in the couple weeks I was in Las Vegas. I think it was either Mada, Mena or Nena. This was a very stylish, mature, blonde lady who made Me feel very welcome in a shop that can come off as very "cool kids". (I'm cool kids too, damnit! lol)
This was My first trip to the US and it was the first time meeting My bf in real life (back in 2015). We're in a LDR and decided to see if we had in-person magic...in Vegas! As such, it was important to Me that when I met the love of My life, that My hair be glamorous af.
New to the city and very cautious about who and what I let touch My hair, Creative came up very highly recommended in several online reviews. I was also excited because I love Aveda haircare and that's Creative's product line.
I arrived and told the reception-person what I wanted (wash & blow out/style), and I was instructed to sit and wait, that someone would be out to Me. If I am being 100% honest, I was immediately skeptical for the following reasons:
1) I'm of mixed ethnicity, My hair is very long, very thick & a challenge for most
2) I didn't see much diversity in the customers who were in the salon at the time
3) The staff I initially encountered weren't especially friendly
The lady who attended to Me, (let's call her Ms. M) was the first smiling face. I told her what I wanted and she commented on how long and thick My hair was, without making Me feel like an insurmountable task (as many hairdressers do). Her head/scalp massage during the shampoo portion was utter bliss. I think the shampoo area is sound proof, or at least I hope it was, because I was admittedly groaning erotically while she gently dug her knuckles and fingertips in. The blowout / style was, to-date, the best hairstyling experience I've had in My entire life. My hair looked silky, fresh and bouncy, My curled ends lasted 4 days (even with sweating & without a protective hairstyle) and I returned several times because I just didn't want to do My hair Myself.
All in all, a really wonderful experience all because of a hairstylist who knows what she's doing, knows her product line implicitly, and who loves making her customers feel happy. I'm so impressed with this woman, I am even considering getting married in Vegas someday JUST so she can be My hairstylist. That's an endorsement if I ever saw one lol.
