We had fun here and the food was yummy. It's a small place. It's clean. We went before dinner rush and were welcomed in and greeted with happiness. The couple things that could be improved were service related. They gave us a little flack for not ordering more alcohol, and couldn't quite get the regular drink orders right. We asked for two ahi tuna rolls and one yellowfin roll along with a few other sushi. We ended up with three orders of ahi and extra ahi (that's a lot of ahi) on the plate with the other sushi and no yellowfin roll. They sent a few different people out to explain but never fixed it. We just ate what we got because we like ahi. Plus the sushi was all well made and delicious... so... it wasn't too horrible hahah
We asked a few times to have our sushi come before the food that we cook at the table.Overall they were nice and checked to see if we needed anything over and over. Our raw meat came before the sushi anyway. Then they insisted that we start cooking. Our sushi came about ten minutes later.
Overall though, it was a really fun experience. The food was excellent. All the little dishes of goodies (kimchi cucumbers, marinated fish cake slices, salt and pepper sesame dip... and so much more) really made the meal. We had an octopus salad appetizer that was one of the best of those I've ever had. The sushi was fresh and lovely. We had two types of beef to cook on the burner and they were both amazing.
Even with its little quirks and communication errors, I highly recommend this place. It's an adventure for your mouth
