  • Love this zoo! I am bias because I have grown up with this zoo. I've been on many field trips here and now my daughter will be going when she gets old enough for school. However we have taken her here multiple times already and she is only 1. Due to our frequent visits we are working on fitting season passes into our family budget. Not only has this place been great for my daughter, but my husbands and my first date was here. It was an amazing time as now we are married and have a lovely daughter together. This is some place I alway recommend to my out of town friends as zoo life is my career. The zoo has changed so much over the years and they keep growing and changing it is wonderful to see and have this amazing facility apart of our community. Parking is free so that is a huge plus! Admission is $16 for adults and kids 2 yrs and younger are free. The food isn't horrible it is something I expect from the cafeteria style serving they present. I have a collection of souvenir cups sitting at home I use for workout drinks. Over all very family friendly, great for little ones who love either people watching or animal watching. It is truly a Pittsburgh must-do for my family.
