  • I wish I would've read these reviews first! In an "emergency" who's thinking? I called to describe my little bubba's symptoms, explaining that he'd been walking in the recently wet weather, in the few hours previously. So whatever it was, couldn't have been truly life threatening, after several hours? The boo boo had what seemed to be swelling on his little head plus he was being tempermental. They informed me that 2 shots would likely be required, as it sounds like allergies, but with the swelling, precautions should be taken to insure breathing wasn't obstructed. At this point, I should've realized it wasn't going to be a problem, but cause a little panic and $$$$$! $36 per shot? Come on. I needed to ask but they said they couldn't offer any discount at all, nope, nothing. The office visit was $110 but no discount this time or ever. The vet had a HUGE smile on her face the entire time, as if she'd been smokin' but, I'm sure it was the influx of patients coming in for the SAME problem. She even said that "there's a lot of this going on right now with the rain and it always happens". THANKS ALOT! They should've said, try this first, give him benadryl $4 from the store. Observe, and if he shows no improvement, then bring him in. $200 later, plus the otc drugs, which aren't being used beyond the first day, he's normal. He was back to normal the same night. Truly a waste of time and money this time. They knew what they had going on.
