  • This was a great local find. I was in Scottsdale for the night and wanted to find something more intimate and more bistro like with healthy options and Yelp led me this direction. They also open later and being on west coast time it just ended up I was always eating later than normal. When I first walked into this place I noticed that there are two sections to sit, one is an area where there is a bar with other tables nearby, and then there is more of a dining room next to the bar. Since it was late and causal I opted to go for the bar area. It turned out great as the service was just as good and it had more interesting people on the bar side. I won't go into details but lets just say there was a passionate couple sitting at the bar and it definitely provided entertainment value watching them make out for an hour straight. No eating no drinking just doing their MO. Watching the waitress dance around them with serving was pretty funny. Anyway that said the menu offers a lot of very innovative dishes many are vegetarian, a few are vegan. They can also modify the menu pretty easily. The dishes we had and I recommend them all highly is wild greens with pickled jalapenos, and a creamy rice underneath. This dish was incredible with the mixture of vegetables, spices and creaminess you get with a risotto dish. I almost didn't believe this was dairy free. It was like major comfort food aka crack. The other pasta dish they had on the menu was very simple with veggies but it again was so flavorful. I also recommend the brussels sprouts with curry lime and the arugula salad was simple but great. They have a nice wine list and local beers. the service is very friendly and attentive even though it was pretty late at night. Will definitely be back as I hear they change up the menu often. Oh and the prices I thought for Cali standards was very reasonable. Yes the dishes were mostly veggies but with all the layers of flavors they all had it was totally reasonable.
