| - Okay. So let me begin by says giving 1 star is me being generous. I moved in May of 2015 and I have dreaded every part of this year. I've been so hopefully of when my least is up. You basically get what you pay for.
The property is extremely old, having being an old hotel. There is nothing appealing about the orange and blue, 60's layout( poor attempt of trying to be "retro"), and disgusting landscape. I was astonished to find out there is an Hoa fee. There is constantly trash everywhere and grounds are always gross. The only area they keep up is the front near the office and lake. The laundry rooms have to be the most revolting areas I've been in. I personally wile the inside of the washer and dryer every time I do laundry. I freak out if something falls on the ground as well because it smells straight of trash, and spiders and spider webs ALL over the place. The pool is GROSS. And it's sad because it's a beautiful laid out if they actually cared to keep up and invest in it. Outside of the terrible outdoor appearance is inside. When I first walked into my apartment. I was on the verge of tears knowing I had to stay here a whole year. Underneath my sink was falling apart and molding, trash still around the fridge from last tenant, my balcony door couldn't even open, balcony carpet was burnt and stained, kitchen cabinets falling apart, I didn't even have a hallway door. They never attached it back, the bedrooms where okay. My carpet was not cleaned. It was FILTHY, it's not beige more brown. The bathroom tile in the shower was a joke. It looked as if a 3rd grader did it. My mirrors are stained oddly And there's paint on them at will. I tried to decor as much as possible to help but there's only so much you can do.
Maintenance is a joke as well. I had a leak in my bathroom ceiling. I constantly called. Every other day as well as online reports to inform them and took forever for a response. They finally can. Fixed it and left the walls plastered, not sanded or painted properly and my bathroom vent off. Which looks it has t been cleaned since they built the place, so that's been great inhaling that for ablut 3 weeks cause they have not been back to complete what they started. I don't bother calling Maintenance. My father is very handy and fixed almost all my issues when I moved in because they don't respond timely or professionally at all.
Another great note about living here are how thinthe ceilings are. It's to the point every time my upstairs neighbor uses the bathroom and flushes I can hear it from my bedroom.... Joy..
There is not mush to say positive about this place. I'm happy they got rid of the old staff. They were rude beyond description. They new staff is nice and honestly it's not there fault because there is only so much you can do being assigned a property already in this condition. The one good thing is the lake. It's a great relaxing spot, the redid the leasing office and front area amazing. But um what about the rest of the property. It's to the point. I don't invite anyone over due to the embarrassment. I wouldn't recommend this property at all to anyone, any day. I'm sooooooo excited to be moving in 2 months I can't describe it. Sorry to be blunt. I wish someone had greatly told me what I just relayed to you. Excuse all of my typos.
