| - With its focus on fine craft beer a smoke free environment and the nostalgia of visiting with ones neighbor, without the distraction of gaming, Lovelady Brewery is clearly the step the Water st District needed, to bring its surrounding community together.
Lovelady brewery offers a variety of tasty craft beers and makes continuous efforts to create unique works of art, for not only the pallets of those who consider themselves beer connoisseurs, but as well for the average Joe who enjoys a reasonably priced beer after a hard days work. My three favorite include the the 9th Island Pineapple Sour, Cafe Femenino Porter and Tres Amour Belgium Tripel. The 9th Island Pineapple Sour is a delicious pineapple infused kettle sour that is absolutely refreshing on a hot day. The Cafe Femenino is a coffee porter I would consider as a great hair of the dog, especially when paired with a delicious morning pastry. Lastly the Belgium Tripel although high in alcohol content is quite easy to drink and absolutely thirst quenching.
If you visit Lovelady you will undoubtedly run in to the men who create a wonderful drinking experience every time I visit, Jeff Bob Jerry and Richard. These men are not merely the owners and bartenders at Lovelady, they are Lovelady, they are artist who have perfected their craft and have made it available for all to enjoy. Walking into Lovelady with the smell of freshly finished wood tables, you become the focus in which these gentleman are eager to please. These men will greet you warmly with a smile as though you are a close relative stopping by for a beer or two or three and they will make sure they pair you with a beer of your liking and trust me there is one you will like. If questions is your game answers they will have, if you're looking for great stories they may have a few around and if you're looking for great entertainment shuffle board pucks are available upon request. When the time is near for closing they are not quick to rush you out, but polite enough to invite you back for another round tomorrow.
