  • First off, I came here because I bought an amazon.com deal for the place. I've been doing this for the past 6 months whilst trying to find a new stylist after moving here. I finally found one! The first time I went, I got a hair cut with Cassie and absolutely LOVED what she did with my hair! I had gotten a bad cut two times before (review on here) and she fixed it up completely. It's exactly what I wanted. I'm so glad that she respected my style preferences and showed off her excellent cutting/styling skills. She was knowledgeable about her product and taught me new things to do for myself. On top of that, she is such a sweetheart and so easy to talk to! After the cut, however, things got shaken up a bit. I went to pay with my amazon/living social deal and it turns out that she wasn't the stylist it was for. This was my fault because I didn't read the fine print that said to call in instead of making an online appointment (which is super easy and convenient by the way). So to any reading this who have one of those, make sure you phone in first!!! However, the lead receptionist (who apparently just became a mother - congrats!) was helpful and talked to the owner who decided to honor the amount that I paid and take that off of my total price. This was above and beyond what he could have done, so I highly respect his willingness to accommodate what was my mistake. ONE BIG DETERRENT was the younger (seemingly new) receptionist (maybe all of 20) who was quite honestly kind of b1tchy. While I openly admitted I made the mistake, this young one kept scolding me and telling me that I should have read the whole thing. I was light heartedly talking with the older, nicer receptionist about ideas to help them in case someone like me comes in again when the young, snarky one piped in AGAIN that it was my fault. Ok seriously, after the owner says it's okay, she didn't need to keep up her little tirade. I kept my cool and didn't say anything to her because everyone else had been so nice and accommodating. I also went back the next week and got my nails done by Katie and she was also sweet, professional, and great and what she does!
