| - I was almost discharged, told to go to the ER of the hospital that had physicians that dealt with gastric surgeries. My nurse realized after 4 days not even the hospitalist had looked at my CT Scan and I was emergently taken to another hospital, for emergency surgery.
I went to the ER with current x-rays in hand as I thought my crumbling hip had finally broken. I have no idea who was coming to treat me, a phlebotomist, an RN, a doctor, a shaman. It was the cardiac tech that told me my hip was broken and I was gling to have emergency surgery. I was in pain, and due to years of being prescribed large doses of NSAIDS not only could my stomach not handle them I developed terrible rashes when I took them. This apparently made me appear as a drug seeker, despite my x-rays (which were 2 weeks old) and the results of a scan that was done. I was placed in a hallway and forgotten about. I did at one point receive one dose of pain medication after 8 hours. Sleeping in the bed I am woken by SOMEONE moving my bed, actually now admitted to the ER at 2am (I arrived at 330pm) "if you don't get up and give me a urine sample I'm going stick a catheter up there and get one!!!!!!" I explained I had no problem providing one. "Why are you talking like that you sound funny" you get the idea. I never asked or implied that I wanted a perscription for pain meds I was treated like a drug seeker. I have had so many other terrible experiences, it's lucky my kids survived childhood (of course I quit going there with them after my 7-year-old was given a penicillin product and her chart clearly stated her SEVERE REACTION) GOOD LUCK IF YOU GO HERE, GET YOUR AFFAIRS IN ORDER AND PICK YOUR MORTUARY
