This was a 6 month follow up visit for my 15 year old daughter. A simply routine visit as she is not having any problems. The first part of the visit was fine. Called back to exam room in 10 minutes or so. After the basic blood pressure, temperature, height, weight routine items were dispensed with that is when the problems arose. Specifically that Dr. Robertson never stopped by to see us for what should have been a short exam. After 30 minutes I spoke to a nurse who told me he'd be there in a minute. After 10 more minutes of waiting I went back out to the nurses who now told me that he was with a patient. We waited another 10 minutes and still nothing. It was at this point I went out to the receptionist and advised that we were not happy. We were then able to see the office/nursing supervisor and learned that the nurse did direct him to our exam room, but the doctor chose another exam room with a new patient. The suggestion was that we could choose to see a different doctor or if we were planning to see Dr. Robertson, that it was best to be his first patient. The implication clearly being that he is time-challenged.
The one good news was they did agree to refund the $45 co-pay. I could understand all this if the clinic was busy, but it was very quiet and not very active. Even the nurses were standing around doing nothing. Not impressed at all with their efficiency/organization.
