| - I was craving frozen yogurt and went to Kokomo without reading any of the reviews. When I walked in no one was at the counter but I had like 15 minutes to get back to work so I just started helping myself (it's self-serve, btw), someone came out right after and greeted me. It was about 1:15pm on a Monday and I was the only one there and the woman who rang me up even commented it was really slow but I think it was understandable seeing as it was still early and kids were still in school and whatnot. It was meticulously clean, like a dentist office - no crumbs, no drips, no mess anywhere. Kokomo is honestly one of the only places I've gone into and noticed how clean it was as opposed to when you go into somewhere and notice how dirty it is (I'm looking at you, Five Guys). Anyway, they have a sign up that states you can only sample 2 flavors max and ONLY if you plan on buying something. It's a little tacky but it goes on the say this is because of people abusing the free samples and I get that. They're a small business and waste costs so don't come here if you're used to loading up on samples at Menchie's or Red Mango. I mixed cream cheese, pistachio, and regular vanilla yogurt together with bobas, pineapple chunks, strawberries, graham cracker crumbs, caramel, and rainbow sprinkles. All of the toppings were super fresh and the yogurt was sweet but not overbearingly so. I bust my fro-yo down as soon as I got to my desk, it was delicious. I'll definitely be back.
