  • Ah, Summer League! The time of the year when I can find more than one excuse to hit the road to Vegas for a long weekend! :D This event is an absolute steal if you're an avid NBA fan. One ticket gives you access to all games for that day -- that's 9 hours of basketball for a general admission price of roughly $25!! Oh and did I mention it's first come first serve on seating! Get there early prior to the game/team you want to watch and chances are you'll get a nice selection of seats to choose from. Players sign autographs in between games as well so don't forget to bring the merch and a sharpie! I've been going to SL since 2005 and while it's definitely seen its changes (less access to the players/coaches/front office execs & more crowds), it's still an amazing experience that keeps me going back year after year. You'll look back on the All-Stars of tomorrow and think "wow, I saw that guy play close up before many folks knew who he was!" Definitely a fun feeling. I totally recommend!
