  • Not happy at all. Here is a letter I wrote in response to their email, days after my visit. XXXXXXXXX, I am finding that the communication between people at Peoria Ford is unworthy of a business. I visited there on a Monday, and test drove a mustang. I talked with the salesman for awhile, and my wife got called into work. I told the salesman I would be back on Thursday, and he scheduled it on in phone in front of me. That night I submitted my financing on your website, and emailed XXXXXXX (the only business card I had), that I submitted financing, and would like for finance to work on it until I got there Thursday in hopes of saving time. Thursday came around, and when I called in, the salesman forgot who I was, said he remembered me but had no clue about the car we drove together and so on. Normally this would be ok, but he made a big deal about not being able to drive manual, so I had to pull the car out for him and drive it to the waiting area (customers are not normally supposed to do that). That's something pretty specific that you would remember 3 days ago right? Then he said they lost my financing application I submitted online. I was pretty upset at this point, but figured maybe the communication broke down so I went back to your dealership anyway. When I got there, the wheels of the car were changed. I asked the salesman about it, and he denied it. I told him that I specifically remember the wheels being black and silver, and I told you that I did not like them at all. He still denied it. We went back inside, and he brought me a paper stating the offer for the car as well as my trade in. The offer was $10.000 more than the sales manager told me it would be last time I was there. If we already made a deal, why try to change it now? I asked to speak with that same manager, and when he came out, he told me that Ford was only able to approve me for up to $26,000. He then asked if I wanted a V6 mustang instead. To that point, my wife and I got up and walked out. The next day, I kept receiving calls from you guys asking when I would like to come in, to talk about financing since they now had my finance application. Now I am receiving emails asking if I was ever contacted about prices and such. Does no one talk to each other there at all? The only reason I decided o give Ford a try was because of the mustang gt. I have never been a ford guy, and never wanted one before. Now you all have helped me make up my mind about ford, so thank you. I will be happy to take my business to Subaru, or Honda. Rick. -------UPDATE------- I went to the Ford dealer who said they were #1 in AZ. They couldn't make a deal, and now every day they are calling me and hanging up when I answer. I called them, and they have no clue who could be calling me. This has now been going on for 2 weeks. I called in, and they took me off of their calling list. That was last week, and it has still been happening. I got the managers involved, so we will see if they do something.
