| - For several reasons, I wish I could give zero stars:
Cons-
1. They used NYC nailpolish (99cent store here we come!) on my toes, it peeled (weird this has never happened in my life) after 2 days.
2. Everyone who works here seems unexperienced and oddly young. They were unprofessional and gossiped about other nail clients in front of me.
3. I had the new "gels" done on my hands, my manicurist didn't clean up the edges so they came up and started peeling in 3 days. This defeats the purpose of the "long lasting" gels.
4. The manicurist didn't know how to correctly layer the color of the gels so I had two different colors on my hands, when I brought this up to them they were very defensive and awkward about the situation...once again unprofessional.
5. While I was there they were really running behind schedule. The 5:30 appt. didn't get in until 6:30, because my manicurist was taking so long to do a horrible job on my sorry nails.
6. It's not fair that the first review that yelpers see is by a girl who works at Flawlace, which gave me a false sense of excitement when I showed up! Of course she gives it a 5.
Pros-
1. Decor- It's very, very, fun and cute inside!
2. Staff has the ability to improve on their unprofessionalism, hopefully they do.
Bottom line, hopefully the manicurists can improve on cleaning up the excess around the nails before they send you out into the world with a horrible nail job....and please, please, stop USING NYC brand...it's bad marketing...really!
