  • It was our 5th anniversary and we wanted to do something out of the ordinary for dinner. We'd never been here before but had heard great things. We checked out the website and were really intrigued, it looked fun! Then to top it off, we found a 'Groupon Now' deal that was $25 for $50, so we gave it a shot. When we got there the entrance was confusing, we thought we were in the wrong place. But we were delighted when we were greeted through the little hidden window and welcomed in. Instantly we knew this would be a place we'd return to. The decor is so romantic, velvet wallpaper, red leather booths, and chandeliers hanging above each table. They had live music by a piano player and later there was a lounge style act while we ate. It really was entertaining rather than distracting, and the music was mostly love songs. Being that it was our anniversary we even got up and danced - I didn't expect this at dinner! The menu looked good but we ended up ordering both specials for the evening: Filet mignon and halibut with risotto.. They were fantastic! We couldn't believe the food was so good! The wine list was a little pricey, but not totally unreasonable. The biggest surprise was the service. Our waitress was very attentive, offered suggestions, gave us tastings of the wines we were debating about and was not at all put off when she found out we had a Groupon. A man came around selling roses, which I think could be annoying if you're not with a date, but for us it was an added feature for an anniversary meal. We will be coming back soon, esp. because they regularly offer their Groupon. I'd highly recommend trying this place but go on a night that you're up for the entertainment.
