I've been here many times before and generally liked it. As with any salon, it's a bit of luck of the draw as to whether you get a nail technician who is precise or sloppy. But I liked the overall place enough to come back periodically.
I stopped by last night after work just for a no chip mani, and ended up with a really bad experience that wasn't related to my specific nail tech.
They were busy and had me sit to soak my no chip in acetone in a bowl instead of roughing it up and putting on foil like most places do. A young man came over to try to scrape the polish off and ended up breaking a nail and seriously scraping the skin of my finger when he lost control of the tool because he was pushing too hard. So they had me put my now sore hand back in the acetone. I kid you not, I sat with my hands in acetone for 40 minutes.
As a result, my hands are painfully dry and cracking today and my manicure is bubbled because (I assume) the no chip lacquer was put on nails that were overly dehydrated.
I was ready to get up and leave at one point, but with my hands soaking in acetone I figured I would stick it out. Wish I would have left. I understand it was busy and would have either waited or decided to try another day if I had been given the option. Instead I paid for a manicure that turned out bad and I'm disinclined to go back to the same place to have it fixed and my hands hurt from being so dry.
Be wary. There are too many other options for nail places in this town, so learn from my experience and go somewhere that won't do this to you.
