I really enjoyed this new spectacle shopping experience. I liked the eye doc who made sure I was really as blind as I say I am and the saleslady Patti, was heck of a lot of fun. I actually have never spent so much time looking for glasses but there were just so many options and you know I'm a very fashionable person, yeah right I am still sporting shirts from high school!. But she was very helpful and didn't make fun of me for admitting that I'm a cheap bastard and I'm not going to buy a pair of prescription sunglasses for $500 dollars. Never the less I still walked out of there with some yuppy D&G glasses for right around $200 after my insurance discounts still a little on the spendy side for me. I really like their use of technology to help me see which glasses I liked better and to get a better fit.I'm not sure if that was all a gimmick, but I sort of like gimmicks. But I thought that Patti truly made the $200 bucks for the glasses worth it! At least maybe I will fit in with Mt. L. HA!
