  • I had read all the reviews about Roa's in New York City and was very excited to try one in our hometown of Las Vegas. I was a little surprised at the decor. We were seated in a huge auditorium like dining area. The music was surprisingly poor. Bully bully was blaring over the speakers which made it feel more like a shady neighborhood bar. The food tasted like it came straight out of a jar of Ragu. The service was at best adequate with the waiter seeming like he had something better to do like play Internet on the computer. The only thing that made it seem like we were in Las Vegas was the huge price tag at the end of the meal. Thank goodness there are a lot of tourists to keep this place open. It would not make it in Las Vegas if it was dependent on the local residents.
