My very first yelp review! This place is terrible. My mom lives here and her first day of moving in the garbage disposal and air conditioner was broken. So she just let them know and waited. And waited and waited. This has gone on for 2 weeks. They sent the handiman who doesn't speak any English which is okay for me because I'm Hispanic so we were able to talk. Everytime he came out he fixed the regulator (I don't know anything about a/cs) but everytime he fixed it, it would break within hours. My brother would have to walk up and let them know it's not working again since they wouldn't return calls or reply to emails. It's 107 on a normal bases mid July so you can see how this is unacceptable?
After a week they got sick of hearing from my brother who is 14 and having a heat stoke so they told him they couldn't speak to him anymore because he's under 18. Which is fine if they would return calls.
I finally go up there. I'm a generally calm person and I didn't walk in with any attitude. I asked them how to go about deducting the repair from rent if I have to hire someone myself and they refused to give me any information on that. So I asked how long they are supposed to have it fixed by I got a reply of 72 hours (which seems a lot less than 2 weeks) and finally Leeza Villegas who is the property manager said she couldn't give me any information because I'm not the tenant. Okay.. got it. That's fair enough. But then she went ahead and explained all the ways they could evict my mother. Because I guess that information is allowed to non tenants.
At this points it's been 2 weeks no air conditioning, no garbage disposal. No returned calls. We've had to purchase a portable a/c multiple fans just to keep it bearable because this apartment complex practices inhumane living conditions.
I sincerely hope you can find another place to rent from and if you can't I wish you the best of luck!
