  • I have had my cats groomed at the Barking Lot by a groomer by the name of Sherry. She does an excellent job and truly loves and respects the animals. The head groomer is a different story though. I have seen her yank dogs by their ears, walk away and leave them on the table unattended and be very rough and surly towards them. While it may sometimes be necessary to be firm with a dog being groomed, it unacceptable to be mean and hateful to an innocent dog or cat who is already nervous and unsure in a new environment. I also heard a conversation about this same groomer shaving off a nipples and then saying that it would grow back. How painful for the poor dog! If you don't want your dog or cat to be mistreated and traumatized, do not allow this woman to groom them!
