From reading the other posts maybe I just had bad luck. I had work done two different times. First was a bore, new piston, and rings. Put it together and no compression, turns out that the rings were the wrong size. After about a week of phone calls plus going back and forth they were nice enough to get the right rings and put it back together.
Second time was for my kfx 700. I was told it needed a carb rebuild. 270 bucks later I got a call and said it was ready. It wasn't running great when I picked it up, but was told with run time it would get better. Took it out and seemed to be ok, but on my first ride it just shut down. It turns over but wont start. It was a long walk back to get a tow and hasn't ran since. Took it to another mechanic and he said its a Carb issue???????
Nice guys, but I wont be back for a third mistake.
