My husband and I were looking for something to do to help get us in the Christmas spirit, not that either of us really needed help getting there, but really just something fun and Christmasy to do. A facebook friend posted pictures of this event and so we decided to make the drive up to Toronto from Niagara Falls and boy were we glad we did!
We had a great time walking around the stalls, checking out the decorations, taking pictures, enjoying free samples, tasting different vendors food and drink specials and just getting in the Christmas spirit. We went on the weekend so we did have to pay a small fee, 6 canadian I believe, which wasn't too bad and was supposedly put in place to keep down the crazy crowds.
The distillery district in Toronto where the even was held had a great vibe with the brick buildings and iron details. I'd love to come back and visit the area during the summer and check out the events at that time, but I would highly recommend making the trip in December for the Christmas market, excellent way to spend the day!
