Social Butterfly is great little boutique to buy unique clothes and accessories and it's one of my favourite shops in Greektown. I love the variety of brands that are carried and I know I can always find something if I have a wedding or big event to dress for. The woman that owns the store also own La Di Da Boutique on the Danforth (just east of Broadview, north side) and divides her time between both locations. she's very sweet and doesn't crowd you when you shop. Sometimes she doesn't say hi though, but it's usually because she's busy.
I bought a cute wool pencil skirt for half price during boxing day last year. I wear it all the time and I always get complimented on it! They also stock lots of great shoes-- I got the last pair of steve madden cowboy boots that are my favourite boots that I still wear! Hanky pankies are available at the standard price, but now that Victoria Secret offers the exact same panty (3 for $30), I've shifted to buying them there.
The prices are a little on the higher side, but there are always options on the sale rack. One thing that bothers me is that the owner keeps clothes on the sales rack for a long time. I understand that it's a small store and the turnaround for new items is less frequent that bigger stores, but the sale section could use more frequent updating.
