| - My mom and I have been coming to this spa for many years.. I think she's been a member since 1997! It's a nice little spa on the 3rd floor of Times Square that caters only to females. My mom usually purchases packages (eg. 30 30min massages, 20 facials, etc.) and we come and "redeem" them.
The spa isn't very big but is decorated in a nice and simple way. There are lockers, an area for reading magazines on sofas, an area for relaxing on lawn chairs, washrooms, showers, a sauna and a steam room. There are usually complimentary Clementines, crackers and herbal tea, in the summer there is lemon water or apple water.
Upon walking in, the ladies assign you a locker that has one of those locks you can set so there is no need to bring your own lock. Then you can change into the robe they provide you and slip into slippers. You can then relax in the sauna or steam room and someone will call you when they are ready to do your treatment. Also there is tea on the bar already poured for you with your name and locker number on the cup!
All the ladies are very nice and they treat you with respect. I think it does help to know mandarin or Cantonese if you want to communicate with them.
Overall the spa is very clean, when you're ready to leave there is an area for you to blow dry your hair and there are products *cleanser, toner, moisturizer etc.* available for your use.
Some things to note:
- There is no conditioner there! so bring your own
- If you go on a busy day, sometimes you can hear the workers chatting away in their back room when you're in the treatment rooms.. the walls are a little too thin
