rev:text	my first review of 2014 and its a tattoo place in vegas. go figure. so this place is one of those places i would normally just drive by and cringe at the thought of ever stepping foot through the door and getting tattooed here. but on new years eve day, group of friends and i were trying to kill some time when a local friend told us about a $20 tattoo special this place was having on new years eve. so we decided to check it out. honestly, when i visit vegas, i rarely venture anywhere outside of the strip. so coming through this neighborhood, i felt slightly sketchy. we walked in early afternoon and there were hardly anyone here, about 3-4 employees and our local friends who were getting some piercing and tattoos done. we asked what the $20 tattoos entailed and they showed us a few sheets of sketches, real basic tattoos, a lot of new years eve, party, drinking themed sketches. i have 5 other tattoos and all designed by me so i wasn't going to get just any random tattoo done, so we asked if we can request any particular designs. luckily our tattoo artist, Johnny, said to show him what we want and he would come up with something for us. 4 of us in our group all ended up getting tattooed with the design we all liked. needless to say, we were there for quite some time but i wouldnt have ended 2013 any other way. johnny was super nice, super cool and funny. his work is fantastic and i think he did a fabulous job on all our tats. he was even able to come up with a design for my BF's FIRST tattoo! it took some convincing but i'm so glad to have been there for his first ink :) i would definitely recommend this place base on the service, the friendly staff and the quality of work. i dont know what they normally charge for tattoos here but we definitely couldnt pass up the deal they were offering!
