It's about time I review this place. Been here multiple times now. I've attended hockey, wrestling and most recently a children's concert here at the Ricoh. Every experience here thus far has been a pleasant one haven't run into anything in particular that would either annoy me or make my wallet much more lighter than it is these days.
Apart from the other arenas (ACC AND ROGERS CENTER) this place has fairly good deals and they don't charge that much for food and drink. Your typical beer here will average you about $7 as for the other guys you pay $15 for nearly the same size. Food is good, they have a smokies poutiniery which is a very nice treat. (Instead of stale fries and chicken lol - you know who you are)
No seat is a bad seat in this place, if you think that then go sit in the 300's at either Rogers center or acc, then come back to me. The sound in the arena is clear and the atmosphere is like any other arena just way less of crowds billowing. Lots of parking of course and not as expensive as the downtown core would be, so another perk. Parking at the exhibition is about $15 as for downtown would range you from.$20 to $25.
All in all a good solid arena and would keep returning, of course depending on the type of talent performing :) thank you Ricoh for being the little guy on the block the average family can afford.
