  • Good service at first, then pretty pitiful. We started using Marymen after my other cleaning service notified me that they could not continue based on their current work schedule. After receiving a competitive bid from Mary, we decided to give her a shot. The initial cleaning price, while annoying given that I had already used a service and my house was already clean, was good, but not better than the service I used previously. Thereafter, the quality of the service slowly degraded over time to the point where I had to terminate the service. The pros is that she has a competitive price point. The cleaning is mediocre at best from the last three or four times that we used her. As to the cons, if a room appears clean, Marymen will not clean it. As to garbage bins, she will not insert a liner into the small bins although the bin had one. If the trash is not completely full, they will not remove the trash in it (other than the trash in the kitchen). The house does not feel clean nor smell clean after she and her helper finish. After her last service, I contacted my prior service and learned that they were available. After they came to my house and cleaned, it was noticeably better than the service that Marymen had provide. They cleaned the rooms that Marymen had omitted from her last service, the refrigerator, the oven top, and the overall house just felt cleaner.
