This place used to satisfy my need for consignment/thrift/unique shopping, but lately things have been going downhill. I can't ever seem to find anything among the gross stuff that they're taking in. If it isn't overstock or designer (which I'm not looking to buy when I'm here), it's shabby and worn out.
The sweater selection this winter was dull and shrunken for the most part (if it wasn't a perfect designer cashmere) and the dresses are all consistently overpriced for something that's obviously been washed a million times and that I can find on the sale rack at Target right now (if it isn't a mu-mu from 1981 and covered in what looks to be coffee stains with holes in the pits). It seems the only way to buy anything here is designer, overstock or if you're a hipster looking to spend too much money on a deconstructed t-shirt from the '90 country music scene.
I keep coming here, hoping to find some treasures, but it's rare if I do anymore. I'm becoming overly disappointed in the way they're handling business (accepting some pretty unappealing merchandise and overpricing) and will probably take my thrifting and consignment fever elsewhere the next time it strikes.
