rev:text	I went into Dat Salon during a hair emergency. I was going on vacation the next day, somewhere with a VERY hot climate, and realized suddenly that I had somehow let my hair go. As in, it had been around six months since my previous haircut. Already, my hair felt like I was carrying around a blanket with me during those hot Toronto summer days. Something had to be done, and fast. After a quick search, I stumbled upon Dat Salon. Close to my crib, but would they have space for me? I was hopping on a plane the very next morning. Sure enough they did, but only if I could come by in fifteen minutes. I hightailed it down the street and next thing you know, I was settling in with Dat. The space is super modern with interesting art and chairs all down the middle of the salon, as opposed to pressed up against walls. After being offered coffee and water, the stress of last-minute vacation preparation quickly started melting away. At the end of the experience, I really liked my cut! My hair felt a lot less heavy, without losing tons of length. He really went in there and took out the excess, while adding interesting layers. A Spotify playlist was going the whole time, and I was happy to jam along and talk about music and life with Dat. It was all very comfortable and easy. When I got to my destination with 40+ degree weather, I couldn't imagine what it would have been like had I not made this appointment. Thank you, Dat!
