  • I had to endure one of the worst customer service experiences the other night in this place. My daughter needed some erasable pens for school, so we ended up here. We enter the store and the two cashiers/customer service reps. couldn't be bothered to acknowledge us or crack a frickin' smile. No welcome to Office Max, no can we help you...nothing. I found what we needed and my daughter wanted to look around a little bit; still no greeting from anyone. We get in line to checkout, and the cashier barely looks at us, seems like he is about to go the electric chair, not ring up some erasable pencils. No wonder your big box stores are struggling- who wants to deal with useless employees. I know, I'm beginning to sound like some curmudgeon, but what happened to good customer service and treating customers like gold. They will never get another cent from me ever again.
